Colorado cities to ban e-cigarettes?

E-cigarettes may soon be more regulated in a city near you!

LAKEWOOD — Electronic cigarettes and vaporizers, which have experienced an explosive growth in popularity in the last few years, are beginning to face stiff resistance in Colorado as an increasing number of communities crack down on the battery-powered devices.

Last week, both Lakewood and Fort Collins applied their public-smoking restrictions to electronic smoking devices, banning their use wherever cigarettes are prohibited.

Louisville, Golden, Commerce City and Durango are in various stages of doing the same.
