Olympian Amy Van Dyken-Rouen taking first steps after surgery

Olympic gold medalist Amy Van Dyken-Rouen, who was paralyzed from the waist down after an ATV accident in Arizona in June, is walking again with the aid of an exoskeleton.

The native Coloradan posted photos on her Instagram account that showed her standing upright and using a walker, along with this description: " Who's excited to be walking with an exoskeleton? This chick! #dreamscometrue #happygirl"

Van Dyken-Rouen also posted short videos showing her standing and walking.
