Centennial Institute Stands Strong for Conservative Values

The Colorado Log Cabin Republicans are trying to bully Colorado Christian University’s Centennial Institute into allowing their organization to advertise at the annual Western Conservative Summit (WCS). The Colorado Log Cabin Republicans paid and registered for a booth at the WCS hosted by the Centennial Institute.

John Andrews, President of the Centennial Institute, politely declined Log Cabin’s request saying “WCS15 aims to build a coalition of all ages and all colors around reviving liberty and sharing Judeo-Christian truth and love. If you hear otherwise, it's just not so. We did politely decline to sell exhibit space to the leading GOP group advocating same-sex marriage, based on Colorado Christian University's core biblical beliefs, but we've made clear they can all attend as individuals, and I hope they do.”

Marriage is critical to the success of any society because it is the way that mothers and fathers are united to each other in a relationship uniquely apt for the project of child rearing. Now, obviously, law and the state have a profound interest in successful child rearing. Every other social good depends on that.
— Professor Robert George, Princeton

We applaud the Centennial Institute and Colorado Christian University for standing for conservative values and the importance of marriage.
